ELECTION RESULTS 

DISTRICT III DIRECTOR
Larry Gaul of Earling was elected
as Director for District III. 

DISTRICT V DIRECTOR
Duane Alff from Oakland was re-elected
to his seventh term as Director for District V.

Ida Grove Scale Complete.....
As planned, the installation of the new truck scale in the driveway of the Ida Grove feed mill has now been completed.  This will allow FSC to load multiple batches of feed into the different compartments of the feed trucks without the need to move the truck to another remote scale each time a weight was needed.  The installation of this scale should add to the overall efficiency of the Ida Grove facility and compliment feed delivery service.    

Fall  & Winter Oil Promotions

Cenex is helping FSC gain new customers and reward current customer purchases by offering two fall promotions.
● The “Gear Up” promotion focuses on converting diesel fuel customers into new lubricant customers.  New lubricant customers receive a $.50 per gallon rebate for the first 100 gallons purchased.  The qualification dates run through November 30.
● The other promotion is the “Treats on Us” promotion.  This rewards current customers by issuing a $50 gift card (Cabelas, Cenex, Sears, etc.) for every 100 gallons purchased from October 1 – November 30 or a $25 gift card for every 100 gallons purchased from December 1 – January 31.
The Energy department will be focusing on these promotions in the coming months.  If you have questions about these rebates please call the Energy office at 1-800-973-3450.

Fall is the time to measure the results of our test plots. This is a short list of tests measured at the Defiance Test Plot. More complete information is available at each FSC location.

AGRONOMY TEST PLOTS A SUCCESS
The test plots that were held at various locations were a success again this year. Even though the weather at a couple of plots was a factor, it didn’t seem to bother the turnout. Record numbers of attendees were recorded. The harvest has not started yet, but we will be reporting those yields soon.
