AGRONOMY TEST PLOTS A SUCCESS
The test plots that were held at various locations were a success again this year. Even though the weather at a couple of plots was a factor, it didn’t seem to bother the turnout. Record numbers of attendees were recorded. The harvest has not started yet, but we will be reporting those yields soon.

Aerial Spraying…..Ron Kenkel reports that all FSC locations are applying fungicide by aerial application.  Plant health has become a new focus in crop production as positive results were achieved in 2007, particularly on corn.  These applications improved plant health and standability.  The majority of the spraying is being done by Har-Mor out of Sioux City.  Ron estimates that spraying is approximately 50% completed.
