Grain Divisions Work Together

     Farm Service Cooperative (FSC) and Farmer’s Cooperative Elevator Company (FAC) would like to announce that they have teamed up to work together within their respective grain divisions.
     FSC operates two concrete grain elevators within Shelby & Crawford Counties.  One elevator is located in Denison while the second elevator is in Harlan. FAC operates full service grain elevators in Arcadia and Schleswig and has seasonal storage located at Westside.
     The two cooperatives originate corn for their feed operations as well as soybeans that are merchandised to area processors. Daily Bids are available by website, phone, or even text messaging.  The two cooperatives also offer on-farm pickup/bids for corn and soybeans. FSC & FAC would like to help you determine the most profitable way to market your grain. Drying and aeration of corn is available at select sites. Grain bank storage, warehouse storage, and price later programs are also available at all locations.
     FAC is also extending its grain risk management services to all FSC customers. These services include: market consulting, risk management plans, crop insurance services and commodity brokerage services.
     FSC and FAC would like to extend an opportunity to visit with you about all of your grain marketing needs.  You can visit them at the Arcadia office and visit with Whitney Bluml, Nate Fara or Bill Bluml.  Sue Graeve is available at the Harlan office to answer your questions.  The grain marketing team would also be glad to visit you at your farm or office by appointment. Feel free to contact either office for more information.

NH3 custom application is a growing service at FSC. This service is provided at all locations. Custom NH3 application improves equipment utilization and allows the grower to concentrate on the fall harvest. FSC is currently applying anhydrous.
