Winter

Clear Snow & Ice from Propane Tanks & Equipment

Clear heavy snow and ice from regulators, regulator vents, piping, tubing, and valves. You should clear snow carefully, using a broom rather than a shovel to avoid damaging any components. You should also clear the walkway and the tank area so that propane-company personnel have ready access to the tank.

FALL FIELD WORK BEGINS…….As beans are starting to come out of the field, a number of FSC locations are reporting they are starting to spread lime and some dry fertilizer.  Branch managers are anticipating an extremely busy fall with scheduled applications of lime, dry, and anhydrous.

AG LIME……is used to improve nutrient availability and microbial activity in the soil. Soil test are required to determine the amount of lime required. Applications vary according to soil tests. FSC promotes variable rate application to meet the soil requirements. Stop by your local FSC office and visit about how we can help you with your Fall Fertilizer needs.
